- Calculation Inputs & History: All conversion amounts, favorite currency pairs, calculator inputs, and DCC comparison figures are stored exclusively in your iPhone's local sandbox or synchronized securely via your private Apple iCloud Key-Value store (if enabled). We have no access to your financial inputs.
- No Account Required: You can use all core features of the Application anonymously without creating an account or providing your name, phone number, or email address.
2.2 Network Requests & Rate Syncing
- Exchange Rate Updates: When online, the Application connects directly to public exchange rate data feeds to download currency quote tables. These network requests transmit only standard anonymous HTTP headers necessary to fetch public rates.
- Offline Caching: Downloaded rate tables are cached locally on your device so that you can continue converting currencies without an active internet connection.
3. Device Permissions
CurrencyRate requests minimal system capabilities:
- Network Access: Used solely to fetch the latest market exchange rate tables.
- Haptics (Optional): Used to provide subtle vibration feedback when tapping calculator keys. Handled entirely on-device.
- No Camera, Microphone, or Location Access: The Application never requests access to your photos, camera, microphone, or precise GPS location.
4. Third-Party Services & Analytics
- No Advertising SDKs: The Application does not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs or tracking pixels.
- StoreKit In-App Purchases: Pro membership purchases are handled exclusively by Apple via StoreKit 2. We do not store or process your credit card or billing details.
